Dr. Zhang Yuping, Medical Director of Xiamen City Medical Emergency Center, and his party paid a courtesy call on Consul General Julius Caesar A. Flores at the Philippine Consulate General in Xiamen following their successful medical mission to the Philippines on 14-18 May 2018 to conduct free therapeutic sessions using traditional Chinese medicines and techniques to 113 employees of the Office of the President in Malacañang Palace, Manila.

Consul General Flores expressed appreciation to Dr. Zhang and his team for contributing to the health and wellness needs of the Filipino civil servants and highlighted that this was an excellent example of people-to-people contacts that contribute to the strengthening of friendship, understanding and cooperation between the Philippines-Fujian-China.

Dr. Zhang has been practicing medicine for more than 30 years specializing in orthopedic medicine using traditional Chinese medicines and techniques and has been one of the most sought-after medical practitioners in Fujian province in the field of orthopedic medicine.

Dr. Zhang’s team included Dr. Qui Jianhua. Dr. Lin Jianhang and Mrs. Fang Lirong during the 4-day mission.
