XIAMEN 7 February 2025 - Consul Charleson C. Hermosura, Acting Head of PCG Xiamen, received Zhangzhou City’s Director-General of the Foreign Affairs Office (FAO) Mr. Yang Shangpang and his team on 7 February 2025. Their visit to the Philippine Consulate General is in accordance with the Chinese New Year tradition of “visiting relatives.”

DG Yang expressed his appreciation of the warm friendship and cooperation between PCG Xiamen and Zhangzhou FAO, noting the long historical, economic, and filial relations between the Philippines and China, by way of Zhangzhou.

Consul Hermosura expressed his gratitude for the visit and hoped for the continuance of the good relations. He also informed DG Yang and the latter's team that the Philippine Consulate General celebrates this its 30th year of establishment in Xiamen and the 50th anniversary of the establishment of Philippines-China relations.
